Allow for Preferred name to have a first, middle, and last section

Allow the preferred name section to then change the "actual name" for the student. For example, our preferred name section is just one block, and not a separate first, middle, and last. When a student edits their preferred name, unless they respond to my emails, I have no clue what part of their name is now their preferred last name, which messes up the alphabetical card order at the ceremony.

Thank you for sharing this suggestion. We agree this is a valuable idea. Structuring Preferred Name into Preferred First, Preferred Middle, and Preferred Last (aligned with the official Full Name field components) could help maintain accurate sorting, display, and ceremony workflows when preferred names are used.
We’ve added this request to our backlog and will review it with the team alongside other planned improvements to the site.
