Currently the Tassel portal site will make 3 attempts to correctly announce the graduate's name, and they can approve or reject each attempt in a linear order. Once an option is rejected, they cannot return to it. Once a name is approved, it remains as so.
It would be great to allow graduands to be able to loop through ALL 3 AI generated attempts and select the best one. And also allow them to revisit their selection (and the recording if applicable) and make changes at a later time.

Brown University master's students also reported problems with this experience. The name pronunciation is of utmost importance and one of the reasons that we support the use of AI. If the name review is a choice, it should behave like a choice. Perhaps there is checkboxes next to A, B, C, or Other where you record your own. This would allow for more considerate review and choice.

We received feedback from many students who wanted to change their option and/or record their own name. It would be incredibly helpful to have all options all clearly available at once, without a pop-up (which is blocked by many users). Thank you for considering!

Just want to leave some anecdoctal feedback that in the chatbot on our RSVP form (which opened today) lots of grads are asking how they can go back because they've chosen incorrectly. :)

Hollie Pocsai we had that too for our May ceremonies. The students wanted to review the recording they chose, but it was unavailable. The only way around was for me as an admin to reset their form and they start all over again, which did not work after the Tassel data deadline.

Thanks for the thoughtful suggestion! We agree that giving graduates more flexibility to review all name recording generation attempts and revise their selection later could significantly improve the experience.
We have added this request to our backlog so the team can evaluate it alongside other upcoming improvements.
