We need the ability to communicate with APIs to gather data on tickets and data submission. We plan to use this to display information on our student portal to streamline the process for Commencement.

Hi Austin Adair , as commencement comes around we upload student data like their IDs, Degree information, emails etc.. which then sends out emails to students to sign up and fill out their commencement details. For example when the student login they are prompted to phonetically spell their name, record their name, order tickets, tell us if they will attend the ceremony etc.. which all is usually a part of a student’s commencement checklist. 
We use our student portal as a data hub experience that brings everything together and for commencement we have a checklist that updates in realtime prompting students to complete these pending items. If we are able to track these submissions and hopefully at some point directly write to these API’s it will streamline the process for our students.
