Since Marching Order (Tassel) doesn't seem to acknowledge that this is how people like to scan so they are able to create a buffer of students, we went ahead and setup our own system. It wasn't flawless and would be much better if Tassel would just integrate it into the program, but it helped us tremendously, especially to catch unrecognized or non-scanned passes.

Hey Andrew, thanks so much for your feedback! We want to ensure we grasp your request completely. The in-ceremony software should show the most recent record directly above the current record. Could you share a screenshot or a short video of what you are experiencing, and the improvement you'd like to see?

Dan Frierdich this is what I would imagine it would look like to allow for even if the list is longer (i.e. we have about 20ish folks standing on our accessibility ramp which means the names that we're scanning go off the page) you'd have the extra field below to show the last scanned name in case the list is too long.

Christopher Moss: Thanks for the clarification. I misunderstood your original comment as you wanting to see the last name displayed on screen.

Christopher Moss Maybe even an independent window that simply has the scanned names list sorted by newest instead of next? Seems reasonable.
